Who We Are
We believe insects are the solution to our planets greatest challenges.
We exists to create a cultural shift in the public perception of insects and propel entomological research and conservation forward by using the field of entomology as the foundation for environmental action.
By developing collaboration across borders, and opening research expeditions to the public, we can accelerate entomological knowledge and illuminate the pathways to safeguarding our planet’s most vital stewards.

We don't conduct "eco"-tours, we conduct research.
This is true exploration, where luxury takes a back seat to raw discovery. Where participants become part of a unique research team in the fields of entomology and environmental conservation. This is an immersive journey deep into the untouched wilderness of remote locations worldwide. Our expeditions are only for the most adventurous travelers, so prepare to get your hands dirty and join us!
What We Do
We are a collaborative network comprising entomologists (amateur and professional), researchers, biological field stations. educators, artists, philanthropists, policymakers, and enthusiasts from around the world. The GEC serves as a unified platform for fostering cooperation, sharing knowledge, and driving progress in the field of entomology. We want to demystify the scientific process and involve everyone, regardless of academic background, experience, or nationality in entomological research and conservation projects around the world.
Education
It all starts with education and outreach. We provide resources, training programs, educational initiatives, and open research expeditions to the public to inspire and foster appreciation for the incredibly important behaviors, adaptations, and environmental roles insects play in maintaining global ecological balance.
Research
At the core of the GEC’s objectives is the promotion of research that addresses critical issues related to insect biodiversity, ecology, behavior, and physiology. We aim to accelerate scientific discoveries and develop effective and innovative strategies for insect research and discovery.
Conservation
The coalition actively engages with other NGOs, businesses and local communities to advocate for evidence-based policies and practices that support insect conservation efforts and change the global attitudes toward insects to help turn their negative reputation around.
